College Station is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and College Station follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Texas A&M acts like we don't pay thousands of dollars to go to school here. THEY DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS EVEN IF IT IS A MINUTE LATE. my appointment was at 11, I rode the bus, got there at 11:05 and they cancelled my appointment. I AM SO SICK. I feel like I am dying. It is affecting me going to class. The office lady was extremely unhelpful and didnt even offer me another appointment. It's a good thing I have insurance and can just go to an ER. But HEAR ME A&M. We pay THOUSANDS that we don't have to attend this university, and you cancel my appointment for being 5 minutes late. Do better and how about you implement policies that will actually help your students that pay PLENTY to go here. I am so frustrated. Not to mention that when I came here as a freshmen I was lied to by the university and told that Beutal is a completely free service if you pay tuition here. They make sure to collect my insurance everytime though. What do students with no insurance do? So disappointed. I would like someone to email me about this and what you will do to make things more accessible for broke students. I am so tired of this university taking advantage of its students. WE DONT HAVE MONEY LIKE THI

Treated my friend horribly. Wouldn’t let her in when she was less than five minutes late and called security on her after she asked if she could go back to ask her PA if she could still see her. Charged her a fee and called security on her. Then was told to come back the middle of Thursday and she said she couldn’t because she needed her ring and was told she needed to reschedule getting her ring even though she has family in town. I’ve also had bad experiences with them belittling my friends and me. They do not seem to care at all about the students and just want money.

Arrived at my appointment for flu-like symptoms and was promptly dismissed without testing for flu, strep, rsv, covid, etc. Practitioner instead added β€œANXIETY” in all caps to my patient medical chart. Went to urgent care a day later and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. 2 stars for ease of booking an appointment, accessibility on campus, and affordable pricing.

The university does not take any late appointments even if it's a minute later and you have extenuating circumstances leading to a bill. Unless you qualify for the university's free health care, they don't take any insurance, and if they did then there staff don't known how to properly connect it. And doctor and nurse staff is varried. Some are really great people and others you can tell there slowing a lot down because they don't care
